Pakistani truck art, block printing and cultural workshops
On the roads of Pakistan, trucks are painted end to end — flowers, birds, poetry, mirrored panels, colour applied to every available surface. It is folk art made to move, and it is one of the most recognisable visual traditions in the country.
Noreen Jawad grew up surrounded by it. In Brisbane, she works in that tradition and adapts it — hand-painted truck art, block printing, and pieces made for a life lived here: tea coasters, lino stamps, painted pots. The patterns carry, even when the setting changes.

Noreen runs hands-on workshops in Pakistani truck art and block printing for schools, kindergartens, community organisations and private groups across Brisbane. Participants work with real techniques on take-home pieces — tea coasters, lino stamps, painted pots. No experience needed.
